This is a stunning mountain walk among the largest and oldest cedar forests in Europe. The age of cedar trees reaches 700 years, and the age of pines is 250 years.
Once you reach the top of one of the ski resorts, you move towards the other. The stunning views of the mountain ranges, the city of Innsbruck and the Inntal Valley are fascinating!
At the end of the road, you take the ski lift down and you can get to Innsbruck by bus. Or, on another bus, you can go back to the starting point where you left your car.
This path is open for lovers of mountain landscapes from June till the end of October.
Even though this walk takes about 5 hours, it is still hiking. Trekking is a longer (several days) and more difficult mountain hike, usually with tents.
Stunning Alpine views, world class ski resorts, amazing nature with fresh mountain air and crystall clear water!
